Eastern Green
I like where I live because:
- Quiet
- Its my own home
- It is within walking distance of open countryside and the beach. I can walk into town and use amenities there but still feel that I live in country
- It is a Cul-de-sac so we have no through traffic. It is a community where we help each other and we know most residents
- We are local to the Town centre bus routes, train station and have good neighbours and since we moved here from a large city enjoy the space
- Everything I need is at hand
- I am retied and like the environment of a park home site. It is quiet and secure. Being close to Tesco and Sainsbury’s is very convenient and good public transport
- Its modern, fairly quiet although not too quiet and its also warm since new boiler was installed
- Small community, low anti-social behaviour, quiet, friendly, good housing, economical house
- Its easy for the buses from where I live in Eastern Green
I don’t like where I live because:
- Only downside is crossing the Tesco roundabout to walk into town. Do not feel that I could trust my 10 yo to cross on his own
- N/A
What would you most like to change about where you live:
- Less dogs and cats. Dogs are noisy, cats foul the garden
- Playground access, grass cutting facilities by Cornwall Council, dog bins, traffic slowing bumps, zebra crossings and bridge by Tesco
- Better facilities on the Tesco Roundabout
- Nothing
- Can’t think of anything really Penzance ticks all the boxes for us both
- Urgent road crossing for pedestrians at Tesco roundabout should be prioritised before any more accidents
- Better servicing of Jelbert Way & PZ in general. The bus stops never appear to be clean or serviceable. The one outside B&Q/Halfords is a disgrace
- Had problems with back garden flooding due to house being situated at bottom of basin. Although trenches were dug, I do not feel this is sufficient and more should have been done so that I have incentive to get my garden nice again.
- Weeding, roadways, footpaths
